Blea Tarn (located between Great Langdale and Little Langdale) in the Lake District, with the sunlight playing on the distant fells.
The morning had started out mostly overcast but with some promising patches of blue sky, and after a while the Sun started to break through, creating the patterns of light and shade. The tarn itself was almost calm, but the very slight breeze gave it a texture of hammered copper to reflect the sky and clouds.
Taken with a Sigma 10–20mm lens and a pair of wet feet.
