Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver at Christmas. The mostly-overcast sky was lit up briefly by the setting sun, with the warm glow on the horizon and the light on the bottom of the clouds visible.

I had to get down on my knees to frame the four Christmas trees underneath the Olympic Cauldron, drawing some looks from passers-by! To get the full height of the buildings in, I took this as a 2×2 panoramic image, and bracketed multiple exposures to capture the dynamic range.
