After a week of pretty awful weather, this afternoon the skies finally cleared to make way for a great sunset.
This was taken looking west from Canada Place. In the foreground to the left is the west building of the Vancouver Convention Centre, with the Shaw tower in the background.
To the right can be seen the (at the time virtually unoccupied) new seaplane terminal — the majority of seaplanes continuing to use the old facility (it was all a bit political). The right-most building in the distance is the Westin Bayshore hotel, with Stanley Park and the mountains beyond.
