A very hot and completely cloudless day with highs of 28 degrees made for a fairly ordinary sunset, so (after checking for inconveniently-moored cargo ships), I headed to North Vancouver to get night shot of downtown Vancouver from across the water.
The clear sky made for a very blue 'blue hour’ photo, which contrasted nicely with the sodium lighting under this gazebo in Waterfront Park. The water in the harbour is very rarely smooth enough to get perfect reflections, but the relative calm made for some nice scattering of the lights of downtown Vancouver.
This was originally a 6 photo panorama, although I cropped it down to about 3.5 photos in the end.
