This is a quick photo I took last Monday evening by the Siwash Rock in Stanley Park, Vancouver.
I was out teaching a mini-workshop on how to take sunset seascapes, so most of my attention was helping with composition and technical aspects of that, but I had my camera resting on my bag with the Tamron 150–600mm lens on just in case. Just as the sun started to set behind the hills on Vancouver Island, this sailboat came by, and I took the opportunity to fire off a quick sequence of shots (hand-held, very unusual for me!)
